Thanks Henry, we will be definitely be answering those questions.

I'm not sure if you remember, but I think we met in Chicago at the Super Conference last year. Anyway, look forward to having you on the call and tell Mr. Lamb that I said hello.

I too am interested in the same issues that Claire raised. While my firm, Valorem Law Group, has has few problems with buy-in, we are acutely concerned with ROI and with which forms of social media provide the best ROI. Great topic and I look forward to the call.

Best Regards,
Henry

[...] This Friday, 22 January, at 3.30pm you can learn how UK lawyers are using social media. American Attorney and social media expert, Adrian Dayton, will be interviewing Glasgow Solicitor, Brian Inkster of Inksters Solicitors, and London Solicitor, Chris Sherliker of Silverman Sherliker, about their experiences particularly with Twitter. Adrian will be seeking to find out whether things are really that different in the UK from the US. Are lawyers in the UK and abroad using social media to make connections and bring in business? Or are UK lawyers too serious for Twitter? You can listen and join in by way of a free conference call by registering in advance at: http://adriandayton.com/2010/01/how-uk-lawyers-are-using-social-media/ [...]

Hi

I am looking forwards to this. We work with a lot of law firms here in the UK. When I used the example of Chris Sherliker at a seminar we ran professional service attendees were interested in knowing for lawyers who are on twitter and tweet often:

- How it benefits you in terms of real ROI for the company, for instance what connections and real business have you built as a result?

Many of the other concerns I have heard are:

- Building engagement within the firm to get started using it
- Concerns about time management

Looking forwards to the call!

Warmly

Claire (@coachclaire and @intendance)

Now this is a call I'm looking forward to! If you're a UK lawyer and wondering how twitter can possibly be relevant to you, you should listen.

I'd love to hear both Brian and Chris comment on how twitter works to build profile, whatever your area of law and whether that's locally or internationally. It's not a case of "get on twitter and clients will ring you". It's a case of building networks and capturing opportunities, which then lead to profile building and referrals....do Uk lawyers get this I wonder?

Also, as a time management obsessive, I'd love to hear how Brian and Chris manage to fit their social networking into their busy schedules. I'm betting they could share some good advice....
